I recently ventured to Cairn Wood, a forest not too far from my home, bringing with me my little crossbreed Matisse. Armed with my DSLR and my secondary camera, my iPhone 5s, we began our photo walk around the woods.
November can be brutally cold, but capturing a few good shots with those autumnal tones is worth a little bit of frostbite, right?

It’s been a while since I’ve taken photos of my dog, excluding the occasional iPhone shot. It’s nice to have a new collection to look back on, as well as a ton of more options for my phone’s background.
I had to retake this photo about 4 times, since Matisse would run from one end of the scene to the other as I captured the panoramic on my iPhone, appearing twice in the shot twice, haha. Though in the end I resorted to the clone stamp in Photoshop to sort this out!
Matisse soon found a cosy spot to relax for a moment and have a chew on some sticks.
The afternoon was concluding and the light was leaving hastily, so we headed toward the way out.
Needless to say, Matisse was in dire need of a bath when we arrived home.
