An Afternoon with Angus

Pet photoshoot in Clandeboye Estate

I love when my two favourite things come together; dogs + photography, so I was happy to team up with Clandeboye Estate to offer a pet photoshoot to the winner of their Facebook competition.

I met the lucky winner, Emma, and her beautiful dog, Angus, on a frosty December afternoon to take some photos. We strolled around the beautiful grounds of Clandeboye Estate, spotting a variety of aesthetic backdrops and letting Angus explore his new surroundings.

It was a crisp, cold day so for part of the shoot we took up residence in a conservatory filled with unruly plants, bamboo garden furniture and beautiful light seeping in from the large windows. Angus, the very loveable Lurcher/Husky, was initially shy upon first meeting me, but really took to me after I fed him copious amounts of treats. Once settled in, he posed for the camera like he'd done this type of thing before.

Angus was certainly dressed for the occasion, looking dapper with his turquoise bow tie. I was mesmerised by his unique looks and bright amber coloured eyes.

Watching Emma and Angus interact was heart-warming, both seemed so happy in each other's company.
