Playtime with Bubba

Meet the adorable little Cocker Spaniel

When a friend gets a new puppy and invites you over to meet him, of course you're going to bring your camera and overstay your welcome, right? Luckily for me, my friend Sarah let me play with her little puppy and take photos until we'd both run out of energy.

This is Bubba. He was only 8 weeks old when I first met him. Already he was so full of character, not to mention photogenic.

I loved the warm tones in these shots, they compliment Bubba's dark coat perfectly.

We spent the afternoon chasing Bubba through Sarah's beautiful garden, which provided so many different backdrops for my photos.

We even found a little wagon to play with. Half my time was spent photographing, the other other half was spent stopping this fearless pup from jumping off everything!

I think it's so important to capture puppyhood as it never lasts long. It's lovely looking back at these photos and seeing how small, playful and mischievous little Bubba was.
